Rationale Enzyme Reactivator Facial

Enzyme reactivator facials are the latest generation of chemical peels, which work physiologically with the skin to target sun damage, pigmentation and acne. They help to re balance the skin pH levels and create a luminous complexion.

We use a range of expertly sourced ingredients, such as Salicylic Acid, Pyruvic Acid and Lactic Acid. We carry out detailed skin consultation and skin analysis prior to your treatment, so your Aesthetician can carefully tailor your treatment specifically to your skin type. The Enzymes will be selected for each individual to gain the best results.

Lactic Acid: For signs of sun damage and minor breakouts.
Salicylic Acid: For breakouts, blackheads and enlarged pores.
Pyruvic Acid: For sensitive, more mature skin.

The enzymes work gently to remove the top, superficial layer of skin and speed up cell turnover underneath stimulating healing processes and new collagen.
The face, neck and decolettage can be treated and the treatments takes around 40-50 minutes. We recommend a course of 3-6 treatments every 2-4 weeks apart. We can assist you on how many treatments may be needed and how far apart.
To finish all Enzyme Reactivation treatments, we put you underneath our LED phototherapy lamp for 10 minutes; this has added benefit to your skin. It has 3 different wave lengths of light, red, blue and infrared.
The red light rejuvenates your skin by stimulating new collagen and elastin, the blue light kill’s bad bacteria which is good for any breakouts/acne, and the infrared light is anti-inflammatory so reduces any redness or irritation. This is a relaxing way to finish off your Enzyme Reactivation treatment; our patients love it!
